The planned walk for the last day was a walk up the hill behind the hotel to the berber village of Annins lead by Adil. Some of the stronger members of the group opted for a longer and faster walk lead by Adil's brother Abdul. This walk went beyond Annins and over some scary paths and ended with a scramble up the hill opposite the hotel.
The walk to Annins crossed the river by a packhorse bridge, went up through the nearby village and then about 500m up the mountain to the village of Annins. Annins is built of red stone and has two-storey buildings. It is surrounded by terraces with many crops and nice wild flowers. Adil's group had a picnic on a terrace with a view of the village.
The day ended with the usual visit to the 'pub' and then a meal in the hotel. We concluded that the hotel Amnagour is good value: the waiters are very friendly; although some of the rooms had small problems and water for showers is scarse in others, the food and the atmosphere is good and the view is excellent. It is a bit hard to change money, although you get it eventually.
