Tandem France 2003: Strasbourg

Strasbourg is a large town in the north east of the Alsace region, just a few kilometres away from the River Rhine and the German border. The centre of Strasbourg is on an island in the river Ile. However, the waterways are much more complex than this suggests - there are two outer rings of water as well as several canals and finally the Rhine itself is only just outside the town.
