Visiting the Cathedrals of England
This is a project we started in 2022 to enjoy and learn more about the magnificent architecture of the cathedrals of England. The cathedrals since about 1200 in almost every town and city in England constitute an amazing historical legacy. They testify not just to the religiosity of the population but also to an immense investment in architectural expertise and craftmanship mustered and sustained for the best part of a millenium.We have been guided mainly by Simon Jenkins' very enjoyable and dligently compiled book 'England's Cathedrals' (2016).
