I had a 3-day holiday in Montreal. Apart from the first day, which was atrocious, the weather was fine but cold and I cycled all over Montreal and some surrounding places using the excellent cycle path network. The photos aren't very comprehensive because it was too cold to stop for long!

The docks by the St. Lawrence have been converted to a waterside park.	..with a modern ornamental garden.
Quebec is the only province where the street and shop signs are in only one language - French.	Atwater Market - an amazingly french produce market.

La Musée des Beaux Arts. The collection is extremely well selected.	An excellent landscape by Canadien painter Ivan Eyre.	There was a security scare at the building next to the museum...
