We drove via the channel tunnel and delivered George's cello to Pat and John's house at Villiers le Bois (south of Troyes). We spent our first night at a B and B on small farm at Cessey, near Baigneux les Juifs. We visited Dijon which has a nice old centre. We then drove to to Aix les Bains to watch the finish of a stage in the Tour de France. We spent our second night in St. Pierre de Chartreuse, where a sculpture competetion was just starting. We then drove via the Col de Coq to visit INRIA where we had discussions with Nabile Layaida and Daniel Hagimont, followed by lunch with Daniel. We arrived at Pont Manel late in the afternoon.
