This Cateye wireless computer specifies a maximum range of 70 cm. With this mounting position the distance is 55 cms. I fitted the mounting bracket to a short length of tubing that is jammed over the nut that is holding the rack in place. A better approach would be to use a piece of tubing closed at one end and drilled to take the bolt. Although a Pashley front rack is shown in the photos, it isn't an essential feature of the mounting arrangement; a bolt passing through the upper mounting point is all that is required.
